Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater tells Raccoon Valley Radio that a 2000 Chrysler minivan veered off of Highway 92 eastbound just after 7 a.m. The vehicle became airborne and rolled into the ditch. The driver was ejected and found trapped underneath the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vandewater says the driver was the vehicle’s lone occupant and is believed to be an Indiana resident, though he has not been positively identified. The accident remains under investigation.
