The Jefferson City Council will meet today.

Following a public hearing, the Council is expected to approve the 2017 fiscal year budget.

The Council will also consider for approval hiring a police patrolman, waiving the building permit fee for the Greene County Fair Association, the third reading to amend the City’s floodplain ordinance and a change order and a pay estimate for the 2015 Grimmell Road lift station project.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
