A Menlo man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Warren County.
The Iowa State Patrol reports that around 9 p.m. a pickup truck driven by 22 year-old Dylan Watson, of Menlo, struck the trailer of a semi that was attempting a u-turn from northbound Highway 65/69 into the southbound lanes, just north of Indianola. Watson’s truck was wedged underneath the trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was uninjured.
Sergeant Nathan Ludwig tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Iowa State Patrol is working to update the crash report with the semi driver’s identification.
The Iowa State Patrol, Warren County Sheriff’s office and Indianola Police Department continue to investigate the accident.
