State Representative Clel Baudler opposes a bill which would eliminate the requirement of vehicles having a front license plate.
He spent over thirty years as an Iowa State Trooper and says the absence of a front license plate was always suspicious. “I can tell you again and again how important that front plate is. If I saw a car back then in a rest area on Highway 29 and it didn’t have a front plate, I would always get out and run the back plate. I can tell you several times that the vehicle ended up being stolen.”
We’ll wrap up our conversation with Baudler today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
