A Guthrie Center High School economics class taught by Bob Bolton is partnering with People’s Trust and Savings Bank to create a real-world financial literacy course.

The new internet-based course will teach the basics of saving money, banking, interest rates, credit cards, credit scores, student loans, taxes, insurance, renting vs. buying property, consumer fraud and investing.

The curriculum is tied to the Common Core standards for 21st Century Skills.
