Guthrie County Board of Supervisors Chairman Mike Dickson is running to serve a third term.
He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that through his first two terms, he is proud of fighting to best represent his district. “I’m sticking up for my district down here. I’m fighting for the district, fighting to fix the roads and bridges in this district, trying to keep County budgets down and keep taxes low.”
Dickson says if re-elected he will continue to work towards those same goals. “Continue to keep our infrastructure kept up, including roads and bridges, and continue to keep our taxes low while still providing all of the services that we do.”
As of Tuesday, Dickson is the only candidate to file for the District 5 Republican Primary election which takes place on June 7th. The last filing day for county candidates is March 30th.
