As the lingering chapters of the ADM Lady Tiger basketball season concludes, we take a brief look ahead into next season for the Tigers.

Raccoon Valley Radio sat down with ADM girls head basketball coach Corey Schneider as he foreshadowed a little bit of what’s in store for the ADM Lady Tiger basketball season next year.

Two of the players that coach Schneider touched on would be one of this years Raccoon River Conference honorable mention Sydney Canney and fellow sophomore Ellie Mueller. Coach Schneider is excited about Canney’s defensive ability for next season but would like to see a little more aggressiveness on the offensive side as well next year.

“Hopefully this off season we’ll teach Sydney to become a little bit more aggressive; next year we’re definitely going to need her to be more aggressive and be more of a scorer,” explained coach Schneider.

Coach Schneider also talked about Ellie Mueller and her future role with the team as being one of the Lady Tiger’s main ball handler next season.

“She’ll be one of our lead guards in terms of handling the ball. She’s got potential to be a really good shooter, actually led the team in 3pt percentage. She also has the ability to drive in the lane and finish near the hoop. She’ll play a lot of minuets next year and I think she’ll handle the point guard position well,” explained coach Schneider.

Now as the spring sports are starting their seasons it will be a waiting game for coach Schneider and the Lady Tiger basketball team until next season.
