Kids looking to get into the Easter spirit early are invited to take part in an egg hurt this week in Perry.

The First Christian Church’s E.D.G.E. youth group is hosting their annual event Wednesday.

Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says it’s a tradition that many look forward to.

“Anyone (age) 12 and younger is invited to take part.  There will be an Easter bunny, there will be pictures taken, there will be all kinds of goodies and that stuff.”

It takes place at the Church at 1224 Lucinda Street starting at 5:30pm.
