The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.

The work session will start at 5:15pm. The Board will discuss the fine arts department including music, foreign languages, art and physical education. No action items are included in a work session.

The regular Board meeting will begin at 6:30pm. Under old business, the Board will consider for approval the bus barn lease agreement with the Greene County Fair Board and the 2016-17 school calendar.

New business items that the Board will consider for approval include revising the graduation requirements, shared positions of the curriculum director with Southeast Webster-Grand and media specialist with Ogden, refinancing the 2007 sales tax revenue bonds, an appointment to the Bell Tower Foundation Board, the 2016 spring officials, a high school club request, the 2016-17 contract with KeBecca Education Services, setting a public hearing date for the 2016-17 budget, reductions and terminations for the next school year, replacing some Google Chromebooks, amending the 2015-16 budget and fundraiser request.

The Board will also discuss the Dixon Scholarship parameters and a project list for the upcoming summer.

The meeting will end in a closed session for the superintendent’s evaluation by the Board.

Both meetings will be in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
