The Guthrie Center girls track team had five top 20 finishers Monday evening at the Iowa State University indoor high school track meet. Sophomore Emma Swanson finished in 8th place out of 65 runners in the 3000 meter run, with a time of 11:25.29. Junior Rachel Rumelhart finished in 13th place out of 114 competitors in the 60 meter hurdles, with a time of 10.04 seconds. Plus, the 4×100 meter relay team finished in 15th place out of 60 teams, with a time of 53.54 seconds. The 4×400 meter relay team finished in 20th place out of 49 teams, with a time of 4:34.93 and senior Rachel Long finished in 14th place out of 104 throwers in the shot put, with a toss of 34’04”.
