The West Central Valley boys soccer team finished last season with a spectacular record of 12-3. That team lost 10 seniors and their veteran coach, Jon Boss, who is now coaching at Wartburg College. Chief among those player losses were Vince Doug, one of the best keepers in the state, and leading scorer Brian Keller.
Look for junior Nick Doud, senior Gavin Lamb and sophomore Matt Clark to provide ample offensive firepower, although the Wildcats bring back no keeper with any varsity experience.
West Central Valley opens their competitive season on April 5th at Bondurant-Farrar.
