The road back to the state tournament for the ADM boys golf team will certainly be an exciting one in 2016.

The Iowa High School Athletic Association recently came out with its 2016 Class 3A Golf Sites & Assignments, and for the ADM boys golf team, their first post season test will begin with sectionals starting on Thursday May 12 at Atlantic Golf & Country Club. From there the ADM Tigers would enter familiar grounds as they would head on to the district meet which is scheduled to be at the Majestic Hill Golf Course on Friday, May 20th at 10:00 am.

Last season the ADM boys golf team put up great performances both individually and as a team in District play. The Tigers walked away from Majestic Hill Golf Course yielding the lowest combined 9 & 18 hole adjusted average score of 160.98 and the lowest 18 hole average at just over 308. The Tigers then went on to place 6th in the class 3A State Tournament yielding two golfers inside the top 15 and four golfers inside the top 35.

While it may be a long way off at the moment, the ADM boys golf team has already been underway in preparing for another state tournament run. The first meet for the boys will be on Thursday April 7th when they head to Indian Creek Country Club in Nevada for a 2:00 start.
