A large amount of student-athletes out for track at Guthrie Center has called for the hiring of a new coach. Upon recommending Mark McDermott as a candidate for a middle school track coaching position Monday night, Activities Director Shane Arp told the School Board that approximately 100 kids were out for either middle or high school track. The program will grow even more next year when it combines with Adair-Casey as part of a whole-grade sharing agreement.
