Each year high school teams from across the country battle with the loss of talented senior athletes and the task of replenishing the talent pool with up and coming athletes. The ADM Lady Tiger track team is no different.

Of the various challenges that the ADM Lady Tiger track team has faced over the years, girls head track coach Bart Mueller would say that their biggest challenge would be the continuation of great performances after loosing talented athletes to graduation.

“It’s always a challenge when we’ve been performing well to continue performing well after graduating some really solid athletes,” explained coach Mueller.

Despite the loss of senior talent, the Tigers utilize the “next girl up” mentality as coach Mueller also talked about all the underclassmen athletes from last year looking to step up this year.

“The girls kinda caught on to “hey we can do this well”. They’re now upperclassmen and they’re ready to take their turn at having success now too,” stated coach Mueller.
