All dogs and their owners are invited to tomorrow’s Easter egg hunt in Jefferson.

Linn Price with Animal Protection and Education Charity in Paton says the hunt will be at Daubendiek Park with dog treats in plastic eggs scattered on the flat area of the park. When the hunt is over, Price notes that the owners can turn in their empty eggs and receive extra treats. She asks that all participating dogs be on a leash and have their current rabies vaccinations.

Registrations will begin at 12:30pm and the hunt will start at 1pm. Cost to participate is $4 per dog with all proceeds to go back to APE’s low cost spay and neuter program in North Central Iowa.

No pre-registrations are necessary.
