Applications are due soon for Guthrie County Youth Foundation scholarships.

The scholarships are available to any senior in high school or home schooled planning to further their education in two or three year programs that are in vocational, technical or medical fields.

Last year, 24 scholarships of $250 were awarded to graduates of Adair-Casey, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Guthrie Center, Panorama and West Central Valley.

Scholarships are funded by a $30 per year membership paid by individuals, businesses and organizations in Guthrie County.

Applications are available from high school guidance counselors or by emailing Luann Waldo at ciapub2@netins.net.

Applications are due back by Monday, April 4th.
