Funeral services for Earl “Shorty” Long, 92, of Coon Rapids, will be Monday, March 28th, 2016, at 2 pm at the First Christian Church in Coon Rapids.  There will be a Masonic service at 12:30 pm at the church.  Burial will be in the Orange Township Cemetery south of Coon Rapids with military honors by the Gurney Parker Post #357 of the American Legion.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Gurney Parker Post #357 of the American Legion.  Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left for the family at dahnandwoodhouse.com.  Survivors include:  Daughters, Gayla McCool of Bayard and Patty Dorpinghaus of Coon Rapids.  2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
