Anyone looking to start their own business or expand their current business and wants help on ways to do that are invited to a free opportunity tomorrow.

Jefferson Matters: Main Street Program Director Peg Raney says they are working together with Greene County Development Corporation and the Small Business Development Center of North Central Iowa to bring in regional director of SBDC Stefanie Koenig. She talks about some of the services that Koenig offers.

“She offers a lot of assistance in putting together business plans, finding financial opportunities, cash flow projections (and) market research for people to understand, ‘would this makes sense for a venture for me or not?’”

Raney is hoping to have Koenig come to Jefferson on a monthly basis if there is enough interest.

She will be at the Greene County Extension office in Jefferson tomorrow from noon to 1pm and from 5:30 to 6:30pm. She will also be available for one-on-one consultation in the afternoon. Call her to set up an appointment at 515-576-6242 or email her at stefaniek@ncisbdc.com.
