Just three days separate the ADM boys track team from the start of their 2016 outdoor track season. The Tigers will look to spring off of a solid indoor track season which held a lot of positives and was a good barometer of where the strengths lie for this years boys track team.

Returning state qualifier Jacob West headlines the list of strengths by head track coach Mike Whisner as the Tigers head into their outdoor season commencement on Friday.

“We are going to be strong in the high jump again. Jacob West was a state qualifier last year; he looked pretty good indoors this year. Reece in the long jump and then there are a few 400 meter and 200 meter guys who can put together some strong relays. Really the sprint relays and those two field events are things early in the season that we see will come out right away and be successful,” stated coach Whisner.

The ADM boys will take part in the 12 team meet in Winterset on Friday, starting at 4:30 pm.
