A heads up to Perry residents, cemetery decoration regulations go into effect Friday.
Starting April 1st, all decorations at the Violet Hill Cemetery must be contained in a vase, on the stone or on an ornamental lawn hook.
Other decorations will be allowed 10 days before and seven days after Memorial Day and five days before and five days after Mother’s and Father’s days. Otherwise all loose flowers or decorations need to be removed by Friday and the rules remain in effect until November 15th.
