The ADM boys soccer team had a very auspicious start to the 2016 season with a win in their season opener last Friday night.

The Tigers came into Friday night’s contest ranked 8th in the class 2A preseason polls and they certainly did not disappoint in their first game of the season as they grounded the Bondurant-Farrar Blue Jays by the final score of 3-2.

Seniors Noah Bardwell and Daniel Finnegan along with sophomore Herberto Ponce each contributed a goal to the winning cause. Junior Drew Gordon played lock down defense with seven saves on the night.

Next up for ADM will feature a tale of two Tiger teams as the Tigers of Carroll come to town to square off in another Raccoon River Conference showdown. The game at Island Park tonight is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm.
