Greene County High School boys’ golf coach Dave Destival and the Rams go to Perry today to face the Blue Jays and Des Moines Christian. The Rams are 0-1 on the season following Monday’s 170-205 loss to Carroll High at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. The coach talked about goals for today’s meet. “We hope to see some improvement from our first meet. We had a lot of new players that hadn’t even played in a meet before when we played Carroll, so I’m looking to improve. We went back and looked at things on their scorecards and asked them what they thought they did that added strokes to their play. We really centered in on those and went to the driving range yesterday.”

After today the Rams are scheduled to host Ballard (Huxley) on April 12 at the Jefferson Community Golf Course.
