The West Central Valley boys track team placed in multiple events at East Union, Tuesday night, on their way to a 4th place finish out of ten teams.

In sprint events, Briar Clay finished in first place in the 100 meter dash. In distance events, Rylan Heffernan finished in 4th place and Tyler McKibbin finished in 5th place in the mile. Heffernan won the two-mile run.

In hurdle events, Tye Joint placed 3rd in the 400 meter event.

The Wildcats competed well in the relays, too, with the ‘A’ team of John Askren, Tim Draper, Tye Joint and Brock Wolfe placing in 5th place in the 4×100 meter relay.

The ‘A’ team of Askren, Draper, Wolfe and Brendon Thepkome finished in 5th place in the 4×200 meter relay.

Additionally, the ‘A’ team of Clay, Wolfe, Thepkome and McKibbin finished 4th in the 1600 sprint medley.

Finally, in field events, Clay finished 3rd in the long jump and Truman Wiles won the shot put and the discus.
