There’s still time to register for tomorrow’s second annual Live Healthy Iowa 5k in Perry.

The Dallas County Hospital Foundation is hosting the local event as part of the Live Healthy Iowa initiative.

You don’t have to be a trained athlete to participate in the event as walking is allowed on the 3.1 mile route.  It will leave from the Dallas County Hospital at 8am Saturday and registration starts at 7:00.  There’s also a 1k kids fun run starting at 9am.

All money raised from the event goes to support healthy initiatives in the community and throughout Dallas County.

The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will be there providing music at the event and everyone is welcome to participate.
