The Perry School Board will meet in regular session Monday.

Items on the agenda include a fiscal year 2017 budget hearing, followed by approval of the proposed budget at a tax rate of $19.63 per $1,000 of property tax valuation.

Joel Martin and Ned Menke will then discuss their upcoming co-principal responsibilities and plans for the upcoming school year, Principals Shawn Kruger and Dan Marburger will then provide information from the Standards Based Grading conference they recently attended and Superintendent Lynn Ubben will talk about legislative decisions that will effect the district.

General business items on the agenda include consideration of a cross country sharing agreement with the Woodward-Granger school district, approval of a high school day trip to Omaha, approval of an agreement for high school industrial tech and concession stand and approval of a cooperative food purchasing agreement.

The Board will then consider approving the school calendar, consider a negotiated agreement with the Perry Education Association at a 3.6% increase, approve the state roster and meal prices for the upcoming school year, along with approval of personnel changes and board policy revisions.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Brady Library at Perry High School.
