The Stuart City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will vote on a resolution to enter into a general fund loan agreement to construct a fire station/EMS facility.

Plus, the Council will hear presentations from Mayor Dick Cook and Fire Chief Mike Renslow.

Additionally, the Council will discuss Stuart Rescue’s budget.

Also, the Council will hold two public hearings, one to amend the urban renewal plan and the other for the urban revitalization plan Stuart 2016 multi-residential area.

Finally, the Council will vote on numerous actions items, including approving an amendment to the urban renewal plan, setting a date to amend a development agreement with Kading Properties, paying a code of  enforcement report invoice for $375 to Ed Leedom, approving a purchase of an alley at 220 North Adair Street, approving a credit card policy, approving a change order for the downtown facade project and setting a date for a public hearing to enter into general obligation loan agreements related to the downtown facade project.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. inside of City Hall.
