Greene County’s boys had two first place events and two more that placed second. Senior hurdler Daric Whipple was clocked in a season best time of 56.86 to win the 400 meter low hurdles, and senior sprinter Max Neese won the 1000 meter dash in 11.25 seconds. Junior Nick Schroeder made his season debut on Monday and finished second in the 400 meter dash in 54.44 seconds. Neese, Schroeder, Whipple, and junior Chase Stoline teamed up to finish second in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3:39.18.

Carroll was the team champion with 159 points and Audubon was second at 102. IKM-Manning had 88 points for third with the Rams in fourth at 72, followed by Perry 60, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto 32, and 12 points from Woodward-Granger.

Next up for the Greene County boys is a trip to Des Moines on Thursday, April 14 for the Saydel Eagles Invitational.
