Wednesday, April 13th
A deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of W Avenue for cattle along the roadway. The deputy and the owner soon had the cattle back into the feed lot.
A Jefferson Police Officer assisted the Sheriff’s Office with a disabled vehicle that was along the roadway on Highway 30 near Hillcrest Avenue. The officer gave the two passengers a ride to Jefferson.
A deputy was advised of a juvenile female that had not returned to her home in Grand Junction after school. The juvenile returned while the deputy was speaking with her foster mother.
A deputy and the Sheriff responded to a verbal domestic altercation in the 300 block of East Hager Street in Grand Junction.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Brentwood Avenue for a dog running at large. The Black Labrador was located and returned to his owner.
Thursday, April 14th
A deputy, while on routine patrol, checked an abandoned vehicle on Highway 30 near Pioneer Avenue. The car was placed on the 24 hour removal timeline.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
