Hundreds are expected to gather at La Poste this weekend for the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and School auction.

Everyone is invited to join them for an evening of food, beverages and bidding Saturday starting at 5pm.

Organizer Trish Roberts says there will be a wide variety of items to bid on in both the live and silent auctions.

“Each classroom is doing an item for the auction so we have some where they’re making one of those tie fleece blankets, we have another doing a garden basket, a dinner out which includes movie tickets, dinner and babysitting.  So there lots of different items of all sorts of price ranges that you can get.”

Tickets for the event, which includes dinner, beer and wine, can be purchased from the church office for $20 in advance.  If there are spots left on Saturday the cost will be $25 at the door.
