In their final meet before the Drake Relays commence, the ADM Lady Tiger track team defended their home meet against a 7 team field last night at the ADM Tiger Invitational.

The Lady Tigers once again saw returning state qualifiers Sydney Bertman, Brianna Mueller, and Maggi Bjustrom add big points to the cause. Bjustrom led the way as she continued her consecutive streak of finishing in the top two in the 100 meter hurdles by notching a first place finish yesterday with a time of 15.39.  Bertman continued find her way into the top three in the long jump after her jump of 16″3′ earned her third place on the night while Mueller found herself running comfortably in second place in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:36.55. Mueller was second to ADM freshmen Sadie Juergens in the 3000 meter run as Juergens took first with a time of 11:29.49

On the relay side of things ADM’s 4 x 200 meter relay team of Anderson, Schepers, Kenny, and Bertman took first with their finishing time of 1:51.88.

As a team the Lady Tigers took 4th place on the meet with 96 total points. Waukee took first in the meet with 138 points.
