greene countyAbsentee ballots for the June primary election are now available.

Greene County Deputy Auditor Billie Jo Hoskins says you can obtain an absentee ballot at their office during normal business hours from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday. You can also request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you by filling out a request form from the Auditor’s office by calling or emailing them at auditor@co.greene.ia.us. The final day to request an absentee ballot is by Friday, June 3rd. You can submit an absentee ballot in person to the Auditor’s office by 9pm on election day on June 7th.

For those who would like to register to vote, either in person or by mail, the final day is Friday, May 27th for the June primary election. All voter registrations must be received by no later than 5pm, unless it is postmarked on or before May 23rd. Those who want to register in person at the Auditor’s office, must bring their driver’s license with a current address. If your address is different than what’s on your driver’s license, then bring another form of identification.
