A local group performing big band music will be showcased at the Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield tomorrow night.
Executive Director Ken Sidey says the Stardusters are a great act to dance to. “The Stardusters are a big band ensemble from Guthrie County. They’ve played here a few times before and people love them. They play big band style tunes from the 1930’s-50’ that are very enjoyable and great for dancing. We’ll have the auditorium set up club style with a dance floor in the middle and tables and chairs on the edge. People can sit and enjoy the music if they want to, but we’ll have plenty of room for dancing.”
The show will take place from 6-9 p.m. and tickets are $8 at the door. Sidey will tell us about upcoming events at the Warren Cultural Center today on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
