Greene County was a 231-246 high school girls’ golf winner on Thursday over Roland-Story at Story City. Coach Heath Telleen said it was a cold night on a challenging course, but he felt the girls played a great round of golf. He saw a lot of positive things to take away from the day. The Rams improved yo 11-3.
The teams played 18 holes, but the team scores were based on nine holes. Rachel Danielson shot 96 for medalist honors with Katelyn Hagen the runner-up at 98. The other two Rams having their scores count in the team total were Nicole Rohner at 109 and Kaitlyn McColley at 128.
