Perry officially surpassed their normal monthly rainfall totals this week.

According to the National Weather Service, just under two inches of rain fell over Perry since our last report.  That brings the April total to 3.3 inches, or two-tenths of an inch over the normal monthly average of 3.1 inches.

Guthrie Center added another 1.3 inches to their total this week for just under two and a half inches in April, shy of the 3.3 inch average normally received.

More rain is likely yet this month as there’s precipitation and possible storms in the forecast for Saturday.
