Greene County High School students will have the opportunity to see what the possible repercussions are for distracted driving next week.

Jefferson Telecom and MacDonald Insurance are partnering together to sponsor the Arrive Alive Tour from UNITE. Students will experience distracted driving scenarios with a simulator as a way to educate young drivers on the dangers of texting and other distracted driving areas.

UNITE is an organization that helps to bring awareness to the dangers and consequences of distracted driving through health and wellness programs.

The event will be at the high school in Jefferson from 8:15am to 3:30pm on Monday, May 9th.
