Greene County joins ADM, Carlisle, Chariton, Dallas Center-Grimes, Perry, Saydel (Des Moines), and Winterset tomorrow in Winterset for a Class 3A track & field State Qualifying Meet starting at 4 p.m. Ram senior hurdler Tyler Beger went to the 2015 State Meet as a member of the Rams’ boys’ shuttle hurdle relay and he’s hoping to do it again. Beger told Raccoon Valley Radio what he thought it would take to get back to Drake Stadium in Des Moines. “Last meet we ran in the 1:02’s and we think if we can run that again we think we could maybe have a chance to get in, but we’re actually shooting to run faster than that. If we do run faster than that, I think we’ll be in for sure.”

Greene County’s boys and girls are both hoping to qualify multiple events for the Coed State Meet at Drake May 19-20-21.
