The Perry Lutheran Home is searching for a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Dr. Randy McCaulley recently announced his plans to resign at the end of the month to pursue a mission of Christian music ministry.
The retired Perry Schools Superintendent has been at the Lutheran Home for the past two and a half years. He says God has been telling him to go down this path for quite a while and he has been slow to react.
“I kept telling Him that I am too old and too tired, but God was persistent. He told me I am not too old and I am not too tired to do this.”
McCaulley, who has been a well known musician in the local community for years, says he plans to perform contemporary Christian music, well known hymns and some of his own compositions.
He plans to produce his own CD and then bring his talents to churches and Christian schools throughout the state starting in January.
