As the end of the 2016 regular season comes to a close for the ADM boys soccer team, substate action looms over the horizon.

Now with the Iowa High School Athletic Association releasing their 2016 boys soccer substate pairings, ADM finds themselves competing in a familiar location against an unfamiliar opponent. With the release of the substate assignments the Tigers have been grouped into Substate number 6 along with the likes of Bondurant-Farrar, Dallas Center-Grimes, Newton, PCM, Monroe, and Winterset. The Tigers have faced four out of the 5 remaining teams in their substate bracket, yielding a 2-2 record having beaten Bondurant-Farrar and Newton while loosing to DC-G and Winterset.

The lone team that ADM hasn’t seen is the very team they will see to start substate action in PCM, Monroe. A very unfamiliar team for the Tigers, but they face them on very familiar grounds at Island Park in Adel. ADM will square off against PCM, Monroe as the 10th ranked team in the latest class 2A rankings.

ADM and PCM, Monroe will square off in Adel to start substate action Monday, May 23rd at 5:00 pm.
