Guthrie County Extension and Outreach has announced two more of the popular Babysitter Basics training courses.

Office Coordinator Vicki Frohling says courses will take place at the Panora Public Library on Friday, June 3rd from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and at the Mary J. Barnett Memorial Public Library in Guthrie Center from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14th.

Frohling adds that students will learn about the responsibilities of babysitting, caring for children, safety tips and basic first aid. The course is designed for all youth in fifth grade and above.
