jake chapmanJust because this year’s legislative session is over, doesn’t mean the work of our local lawmakers stops.

District 10 State Senator Jake Chapman says he has several plans between now and next January.

“Look, you’re not a senator from January until March or April.  I reach out to constituents, we continue to have forums. So really right now the focus is on constituent services and what I can do to help those that have elected me and put me into office, in that office of trust.  So I enjoy getting out there and meeting the people I work for and care what their concerns are. And preparing for the next legislative session, what things we can get accomplished.”

Chapman will also be campaigning over the next few months as he’s seeking reelection this November.  He does not have a challenger for June’s Republican primary but Democrat Matt Paladino of Guthrie Center is hoping for his party’s nomination and looks to unseat Chapman in the general election.
