Members of the West Central Valley girls and boy track teams will head to Treynor today for a state-qualifying meet. Heading into that meet, many student-athletes are well-positioned.
On the boy’s side, Briar Clay has the third fastest 100 meter dash and fifth longest long jump. Additionally, Rylan Heffernan has the fourth fastest mile and second-fastest two mile run. Plus, Truman Wiles has the longest shot put and second longest discus throw.
On the girl’s side, Kristen Culp has the second-fastest 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles. Additionally, Kassidy Bremer has the second-longest long jump. Plus, Caroline Doud has the fifth-highest high jump and Grace Dupuy the third-longest shot put toss.
Meet begins at 4 p.m., at Treynor.
