It’s officially postseason time for Iowa high school boys golf as sectionals get underway today.

The ADM boys golf team will certainly be one of the many teams in action today as they take aim at their sectional meet at the Atlantic Golf & Country club. The Tigers will be squaring off against Carroll, Creston, Glenwood, Greene County, Harlan, Perry, and the home town Atlantic high school. Should the Tigers advance past the sectional round they would enter familiar territory as they would then head to the district meet which will be held at the Majestic Hill Golf Course, Friday, May 20th.

Majestic Hill Golf course is not only a familiar place for the Tigers, but has also been very friendly to ADM. Last year the Tigers walked away from Majestic Hill Golf Course yielding the lowest combined 9 & 18 hole average shooting  a 160.98 along with the lowest 18 hole average at just over 308. The Tigers then went on to place 6th in the class 3A state tournament yielding two golfers inside the top 15 and four golfers inside the top 35.

First the Tigers will have to conquer the Atlantic Golf & Country Club sectional which will commence at 10:00 am today.
