The Perry Chamber officially welcomed Orscheln’s Farm and Home into their new location Friday.
Around two dozen chamber and community members gathered at the store for a ribbon cutting and open house. The business relocated to the new 401 1st Street location last month and General Manager Bill Sanguinetti says if the last few weeks are any indication, they’re going to do well at the new store.
Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says the new location, former home of the Perry Alco Store, offers around 20,000 more square feet of space and gives Orscheln’s the opportunity to refresh and increase their offerings.
The grand opening celebration continues through the weekend with various games, contests for kids, giveaways, sales and raffles.
