As we’ve reported, several members of the Guthrie Center boys track team have qualified for the state meet. Sam Courtney qualified in the mile, Logan Scheuermann in the open 800 meter run, as did the 4×800 meter relay of Courtney, Landon Foster, TJ Wickland and Scheuermann. Neither Courtney, Scheuermann  or the relay team are in the top 5 of Class 1-A in their events, so the student-athletes will have to run their hardest to make some noise at the state meet. The boys relay team will compete late Thursday afternoon, Scheuermann will compete Saturday morning and Courtney will compete in the mile on Saturday afternoon.
