Iowa’s 2016 legislative session ended over two weeks ago, giving local lawmakers plenty of time to reflect on new laws.

State Representative Clel Baudler says there’s one thing that sticks out in his mind as a historic highlight of this year’s session. “The fight and the differences with the Senate over coupling on your federal and state taxes. I think that issue turned out to be a success for the people of Iowa.”
