Several Dallas County athletes are heading to the state track and field contest this week.
Seven girls relay teams from Adel DeSoto Minburn will compete at state, along with competitors in the hurdles, run and long jump contests.
Three ADM boys relay teams have qualified for state along with upcoming appearances in the long jump, high jump and shot put.
The Perry Jayettes will be represented in the state shot put and 400 meter dash contests while Bluejays will run in three dash contests and two relays.
The state contest begins Thursday and the Raccoon Valley Radio sports team will have updates on all of our local high school athletes.
