An arraignment hearing has been scheduled for the owner of Jefferson Pizza Ranch who is accused of burning down his own restaurant.

According to court documents, 53 year-old Robert Schultz Jr. is scheduled to be in Greene County District Court on Monday, May 23rd for an arraignment hearing. He is charged with a Class B Felony for first degree arson, a Class C Felony for first degree criminal mischief and a Class D Felony for insurance fraud.

The alleged incident occurred just after midnight on January 27th. The Jefferson Fire and Police departments determined that there were multiple points of origin throughout the restaurant that led them to believe the fire was intentionally set.

The investigation is ongoing at this time, with charges against additional suspects pending.
