The application deadline for this year’s Greene County Fair Queen is tomorrow.

Organizer Ann Cunningham says candidates must a female, at least 16 years-old and not older than 21 by August 13th. Candidates must have never been married or have children, reside in Greene County or an adjoining county if the majority of her activities are in Greene County. Candidates must have be a member of at least one worthwhile organization and it doesn’t have to be 4-H. You must also provide a recent photo of yourself, which will be returned.

Applications are available at the Greene County High School office, Paton-Churdan office or from Cunningham at 114 South Wilson Avenue. Forms must be submitted by this Friday to be eligible.

Whoever is crowned as this year’s Greene County Fair Queen will go on to represent the County at the Iowa State Fair in August. Call Cunningham with any questions at 386-8198.
