St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Perry has hired a new principal.
Eddie Diaz will begin his position at the school on July 1st. He comes to St. Patrick’s from Perry High School where he has taught since 2010. Before that Diaz was a teacher in the Des Moines Public School District after retiring from the U.S. Marine Corps.
A 1997 Perry High School graduate, Diaz and his wife Angelica are long time parishers at St. Patrick’s and were married there in 2006.
