The Mahanay Bell Tower in Jefferson is now open everyday until Labor Day.

Greene County Chamber Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen says there’s several more opportunities for people visit the Bell Tower.

“If you have friends or family in town that are in town, make sure that you bring them up uptown and maybe you’ve been up the tower quite a few times, but they haven’t, take them up. And there’s always something new to see. If you haven’t your family up to see the rooftop art installation and pretty soon there’s going to be another one of those. There’s a lot of good reasons to keep going back to the tower and bring your friends and family and show them what we’ve got.”

The Bell Tower is open from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $3 for adults and free for anyone 18 years-old and younger. Youth admissions are being sponsored this year by the Jefferson Kiwanis Club.

It is also available for private tours by calling the Chamber office in Jefferson at 386-2155.
